Meet the Team

Dr. Keo grew up in Winston-Salem and Greensboro, North Carolina.  

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Laboratory Animal science from North Carolina A&T State University in 1994. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University in 1998. 

Shortly after graduation, he moved to Las Vegas and worked at various small animal hospitals throughout Las Vegas and the Henderson area. 

Dr. Keo's professional interests include small animal preventative care, internal medicine, and surgery. 

Dr. Keo enjoys traveling, hiking/camping, watching movies or just relaxing at home listening to music and spending time with his four legged babies. Dr. Keo shares his home with Buick (16 yrs old, Domestic short hair cat), Ellie (9 yrs old Maltipoo), and Quinn (3 yr old, shih-poo) and Cassie (2 yr old poodle and Maltese). 

Jackie is originally from Tucson, Arizona where she first became a licensed veterinary technician in 2010. She has 16+ years of experience in the veterinary field.  She has a soft spot for the stressed (grumpy) Kitties. She currently has 3 cats and 2 dogs, a dachshund 'Cookie Dough' and a Frenchie 'Meatball'.

  When she is not working, she spends time with her husband and kids. She enjoys fitness, hiking, traveling, and trying new foods. 

Cindy moved to Boulder City, NV when she was in Jr High. She has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 1998. Veterinary Medicine is her passion and it has been a major part of her life for over 25 years. She has worked both in Small Animal General Practice and emergency.  She also has experience working in Large Animal Medicine and she has been an instructor for LVT students in Las Vegas. She has been happily married for over 30 years, has 2 adult children and is also the mother of a dog, a cat, 4 horses, 5 goats and several chickens.  She loves to go horseback riding and camping. In her spare time, she volunteers to help 4-H students. 

Amy moved to Las Vegas from North Texas in April of 2011 with her diabetic cat Frasier and her husband. She met Dr Keo shortly after when she began to volunteer and work at HCWS. She was a receptionist and veterinary assistant at HCWS for 6 1⁄2 years. While living in Las Vegas, she has also worked as a pet adoption counselor, a personal assistant for someone and his dog who was paralyzed dog and a supervisor at a boutique pet supply store. She and her husband currently have a long-haired orange tabby named Reddie who is both sugar and spice, but he definitely keeps life interesting.  She's always loved working with and owning cats and dogs. She's is so excited to be a part of The Edge Pet Hospital as the Office Manager as well as helping out as a Receptionist and a Veterinary Assistant! 

Ashley was born and raised in Las Vegas NV. She has been working as a Veterinarian Assistant since 2015. Ashley is a mother of two kids and has a dog, two ferrets and a crested gecko. Ashley's favorite part about being a VA, is using fear free methods to gain pets trust and give them a great experience at the vet. On her free time she enjoys spending time with her family. 

Sarah is originally from the Bay area, CA, Also lived in WA and OR before moving to Las Vegas. She has been a Vet Assistant  for 10 years. She mostly likes working with the geriatric pets. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her dog, cooking, watching movies, house plant hobbies and naps. She has a dog named Mitch and 2 cats named Gypsy and Pirate.

Adriana was born in El Salvador, and she moved to Las Vegas, NV at the age of 5. She is currently a student at UNLV interested in pursuing a career in the veterinary field, and she has a rescue kitten named Maggie. She has a special place in her heart for animals of all sorts, and enjoys boxing, hiking, and kayaking at the lake on her free time.

Joy was born in Henderson, NV and she is a Veterinary Assistant who has been working in the industry for the last 3 years at other hospitals. She is currently in school working on getting her license to become a veterinary technician, however, her long term goal is to become a veterinarian someday. In her free time she enjoys training horses, barrel racing, and long-range shooting. 

LaTosha Is originally from Kansas City Missouri, she has been a veterinary receptionist for the past 2 years. She has a Chihuahua/ Corgi mix named Pedro, he is the best fur baby she ever had!  LaTosha loves to hike and play volleyball.
